Today our destination is Bahouddin Naqshband that is also located in Kagan district of Bukhara. I think that every our groupmates and people know about this place. It is one of the famous mausoleum of our region.
Life of Bahauddin Naqshband
Bahauddin Naqshband (Muhammad binni Muhammad Bahauddin al-Naqshband al-Bukhari) was born in 1318 in the village of Qasri Hinduvan near Bukhara, Chigatai province. It is noted that Bahauddin Naqshband is one of the Sayyidzadas belonging to the descendants of the Prophet Muhammad, and on his father's side, he is a descendant of Sayyid Ali Akbar, the second son of the 11th Imam, Imam Hassan al-Askari. His father Muhammad Bukhari was a weaver and embroiderer (naqshband), and his son also mastered this craft. Bahauddin Naqshband's first teacher was Khoja Muhammad Babayi Samosi. The old sheikh entrusted the upbringing of young Bahauddin Naqshband to one of his deputies, Amir Sayyid Kulol. After teaching what he knows in the chapter of tariqat, he gives permission to his student. In search of knowledge, Bahauddin Naqshband went to the city of Nakhab (now Qarshi) to Sheikh Qusam, one of the famous representatives of the Yassawiya sect. He died around 1389 in Qasri Orifon village near Bukhara

12 km from Bukhara. a unique monument complex located in the distance was built in honor of the great Sufi teacher Bahauddin Naqshbandi. In connection with the 675th anniversary of the birth of Bahauddin Naqshband (1993), the importance of studying the teachings of allamas has increased in Uzbekistan. "Naqshbandiya" scientific center has started working at Bukhara State University. The research of mystical heritage was started there. The "Naqshbandiya" center was established in the Bukhara State Museum-Reserve.
